Onslaught in the spirit realm
Greetings in Jesus name, there are so many shocking events taking place across the nations and for some of you, it doesn’t make sense. In the face of this we don’t take for granted at all the emails letters and phone calls from the saints who take their time to question what is going on. As I prayed for clarity, I believe that the Holy Spirit highlighted some things that need to be done.
Onslaught in the spirit realm
I sense that the enemy has released an onslaught in the spirit realm to bring people into doubt and cause them to question their faith.
Through this onslaught he has put people in bondage, crippled others with a spirit of infirmity and to some has even brought depression. The onslaught has also attacked people’s minds projecting thoughts and assumptions making them think that they have failed and by doing so leading even some of the elect to agree with the devil, deceiving them into praying unnecessary prayers as the real thief is getting away.
Because the real thief gets away, drastic incidences take place many of which are irreversible. In this pace of distraction the enemy has kept some of you confused and so busy, that you are forgetting to water your seeds, forgetting your true identity and you cannot hear the voice of God asking you to do other things.
To everyone that has been harassed and distracted in this way by the enemy I say, “right now receive peace”. Peace to everyone reading this word, I speak God’s peace and clarity to your mind, and heart in Jesus’ name.
At this time saints take time to check your heart. Review your thinking. Have you been distracted? What has the enemy been able to trap you with?
An acceptable sacrifice – insights in fasting and prayer
I also want to bring insight to those of you that have been seeking God for His voice in the place of fasting and prayer. You have fasted and prayed though you have not yet seen breakthrough. Let me point out what could be hindering that breakthrough.
Psalm 4:5 encourages us to “Offer sacrifices in the right spirit and trust the Lord”.
However, many of you fast out of anger and strife. As a result the prayers accompanying these fasts are contaminated and because they stem from bitter roots the enemy uses them against you. Saints when your prayers come from a heart of anger and strife they give the enemy a legitimate hold over you because he is a legalist. God cannot answer your prayers or back up your declarations.
In psalm 4: the verse speaks of be angry but don’t sin.
I believe God is calling his body to be Isaiah 58 people because of what is to come. Some demonic structures are willing to pay the ultimate price to achieve their goals. In 2 Kings 3:26-27 we see how the king of Moab sacrificed his son to win the battle against God’s covenant ones. His ultimate sacrifice prevented the Israelites from coming into the place of victory.
God is not calling his people to that type of sacrifice because he already did so by giving us his only son our savior Jesus, but it’s important to know how Jesus coped when all seemed to be going wrong in his life. He completely laid himself down trusting that his father will come though for him. In fasting we must offer God the right sacrifices. Basically do right still and trust God.Seek Him for what He specifically requires of you. Determine to remove fear and let Him into Your whole life. Ask Him to build you, to draw you, to speak to you and help you.
Today the lord is calling us to make a sacrifice. Not the sacrifice of a child but of self, a sacrifice of love and forgiveness. When we sacrifice the right things to God, He hears and answers us.
In Matthew 5 Jesus illustrated the kind of sacrifices that please God. He spoke of blessings of closeness to and seeing God for those who were pure in heart, peacemakers and persecuted for righteousness sake. He also spoke of inheritance of the Kingdom of Heaven and of the earth for the poor in spirit and the meek. He continued to give keys such as mercy to the merciful, fulfillment to those who hungered and thirsted for righteousness and heavenly rewards for those who bore false accusations for His name’s sake.
In Isaiah 58 God clearly instructs that in our fasting, we must break chains of injustice, wickedness and exploitation and let the oppressed go free. He calls us to feed the hungry, reach out to the poor and be there for our own families.
Our fasting must also affect what we say and do. We must cease from “pointing the finger and speaking wickedness or gossiping about others”. Isaiah 58:9b.
God’s kingdom is in righteousness and as you walk you will feel a liberty and release that goodness and mercy will follow you.
In the place of contention and revenge strong men are taking over entire regions. Yet when the presence of God comes they will see that their times are at an end. Psalm 5:4-6, Psalm 9:3-6.
Saints I tell you God will give you victory He did not bring you this far to leave you. But you must know what to lay on the altar as a true sacrifice, see the full picture in Jesus and stay the course.
A testimony one of the young men in our ministry who missed
what God was doing in his life in a significant way and subsequently repented of his mistakes illustrates what the Lord is saying to us about right sacrifices clearly. This young man’s actions also caused others around him to lose a great opportunity which had he not repented could have brought him into judgment in future.
One year later he went for a job interview for a position outside of his calling and lied on his application form. He subsequently came under conviction and confessed what he had done admitting that he had done so because he had been desperate. In response not only did his employers give him money to do his masters degree but they also gave him £30,000 pounds for his upkeep!! Offering the right sacrifice paid off and allowed God to move on his behalf.
In a second testimony another member of our ministry was invited to Moscow to meet a group of non-Christian oilmen. While in Moscow at a business meeting the subject of conversation turned to a particular Christian business person who was said to have a reputation for bad mouthing fellow Christians. At that point the member of the ministry (who had in fact been hurt by the Christian business person in question in the past) took the opportunity to explain that all men have fallen and that one error did not define an individual. The member also explained how God seeks to restore all who call to him and pointed out that people can change given the right help.
As a result of what the member of our ministry said the non-Christian oilmen were so impressed that they gave our ministry member a substantial deal that will provide employment for thousands of people in a third world country!! Saints there is power, favor and answered prayer in giving the right sacrifice and trusting God.From the place of sacrifice in the right spirit command a blessing.
Saints a note of caution about dysfunctionalities. After living with your dysfunctionalities for so long you become invested in defending your dysfunction rather than changing – quote from a president. Trust God and deal with your issues for the change. .
Saints it is time to focus on the Lord with unwavering devotion. It is the hour to take your calling in the Lord seriously and to be in the spirit. It is time to offer right sacrifices before the King of all the earth and to cry out for His intervention.
Let us pray the following prayers together from Psalms 5, 9, 89 and Isaiah 58.
Father we commit ourselves to you afresh in this hour and season. We need your help and lay the pieces of our lives upon your altar. In Your mercy Lord cause Your fire to fall upon us again. Instruct and direct us even as we wait upon you.
Father we thank You for not forsaking those who seek You, those who cry out to You humbly from their hearts. Have mercy upon us, hear our prayers and deliver us from the hands of the enemy.
Lift us up from the gates of death and the places of oppression that we may tell of your praise.Grant us the grace precious Lord to worship you in reverent awe. Lead us Father in Your righteousness because of our enemies and make your way straight before us. As we trust in You, fill our hearts with rejoicing and our mouths with singing and shouts of joy.
Strengthen us to offer You acceptable sacrifices of love and forgiveness as we lay ourselves down before You. Make us swift to obey You when You highlight those things in our lives that you want to address.
May our fasting please you as we loose bonds of wickedness, undo heavy burdens and let the oppressed go free. May our words glorify you and be vehicles of life and not destruction.Cause our light to break forth like the morning Oh God and our healing to spring forth speedily. Let Your glory be our rear guard. Father we ask that You surround us with your favor as a shield and that You incline Your ear to our prayers.
Be our ever-present guide Lord and strengthen our bones. Make us like well-watered gardens Oh God – continually praising You.
Arise Lord and execute speedy judgment on those that forget the needy, do not let the wicked man prevail nor let the expectation of the poor perish forever. For You Lord are not a God who takes pleasure in wickedness and You abhor bloodthirsty and deceitful men.
You Lord are the great and awesome One. You own the world and everything in it. Righteousness and justice are the very roots of Your rule. Mercy and truth go before You. You are the highest sovereign of Heaven. Do not hide Yourself from us Oh Lord, do not let the enemy make us a reproach or an object of scorn. Deliver us by Your strong hand Oh Lord and cause us to bless You forever. In Jesus’ name. Amen
