Dear Saints
Blessings and more. For the last few days there has been a weighty feeling in the spirit over our nation. It has felt as though something is tipping, and many people are struggling to articulate exactly what it is and to give a name to what they are sensing and feeling.
As I prayed and looked into this, I sensed a stirring as though the enemy is attempting to regroup. Due to the level of prayer and fasting that has been taking place, the enemy has been scattered, but he is now looking for a new place to re-establish himself. He is trying to find a fresh place to take root, and to identify who he can entangle to create an entry point, and what vehicles he can use to strike.
Because he has not yet found a place to settle, it seems as though he is being evasive, and it has been difficult for many to put a finger on exactly where the feeling is coming from. It is as though there is a bad scent that is difficult to trace, but which you know you need to get rid of.
As I continued to pray, the Lord led me to the Scripture in Isaiah 5:20, where it says “Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!” Because the enemy has managed to distort the perception of the people as to what is truly evil and what is truly good, there is an element of confusion as to what needs to be removed and cleansed to get rid of this scent. However, by His Spirit the Lord is going to enable the Church to remove the enemy’s hiding places, so that the atmosphere can be cleared and so the streams can start flowing again!
Many of the prophetic words coming to this nation right now are filled with hope. That’s the nature of our God. Psalm 91 tells us that “he who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty” and that “a thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it shall not come near you.” Our God knows how to preserve those that are His no matter the enemy’s schemes or plans.
I feel that a real priesthood is emerging in this nation, and that God is calling for this priesthood to awaken in this hour to release a completely different and anointed fragrance to counter what is lingering in the atmosphere and trying to take root. Tarry with Him a little longer, come away with Him and cry out! Don’t be distracted or derailed, the promises are not far off! New initiatives might come your way to take you on a detour and lead you along a longer route, but let truth and the inward conviction of the Holy Spirit take you on the path that the Lord has laid out for you. Refuse to go around in circles on behalf of an agenda that the Lord has not given!
